Yonge and Dundas/Then and Now

The S/E corner of Yonge and Dundas (Dundas Square) in the early 1970's.
Today.
Another angle looking south at Burtons, the Store for Men.

Toronto Street/Then and Now

Looking north up Toronto Street from Court Street towards the Post Office Building on Adelaide in 1915.

Again but a little further back.

John and Adelaide/Then and Now

Although this photo from the summer of 1929 is labelled the N/E corner of John and Adelaide, it's actually the N/W corner as the building in the BG reveals. Note the horse drawn milk wagon.
The corner store has been replaced by a Hooters.
The first Hooters opened October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida.
On October 4, 1957 the Avro Arrow roll-out ceremony took place at Avro Canada in Malton.
My Uncle was a mechanic and worked on the Avro Arrow.
